Anus and mouth open at opposite ends of the body, which is U-shaped or fusiform. Ossicles are plates in the body wall with or without small spires, uniformly grated plates or with knotty or thorny shapes on their ends. Tentacles, digitate, 10-20 in number. (Pawson & Fell, 1965)
