Sclerodactylinae

10 genera, 5 monotypic; 25 species

Ten tentacles. The parts of the calcareous ring are themselves divided. The radialia have forked tails of medium length, which are mostly put together from about 3-4 large pieces; only as an exception are they unbroken. (Panning, 1949)

Tentacles 10; calcareous ring compact, short, tubular, with the radial and interradial plates fused for most of their length; posterior paired processes of the radial plates of medium length, usually broken into a few large pieces of calcite, rarely processes unbroken. (Thandar, 1989)
