Small to medium sized dendrochirote holothurians with 20 tentacles in two circles (15+5). The calcareous ring is composed of forked tails, which are comprised of a few pieces. The podia in larger animals are spread evenly over the whole body. The calcareous bodies are reduced towers or thorny plates which are derived from the towers. (Heding & Panning, 1954)
