Parvotrochus

tentacles 10, Body short, sac-like, sharply tapering posteriorly and minute in size. Calcareous ring radially symmetrical, resembling a necklace consisting of 10 bead-like plates, each with anterior processes; plates are reduced in size in relation to body compared to others in the family. Deposits consist of numerous long slender rods that are pointed at both ends, and minute wheels with slender curved spokes radiating from a central hub to the rim bearing a single row of triangular, inward pointing teeth. Curved rods present in tentacles. (Gage & Billett, 1986)
