Paroriza

Hérouard, 1902

Body cylindrical, only slightly flattened on ventral side, which does not form a ventral sole and is not separated from the dorsal side by a marginal fringe. Mouth ventral; anus sometimes in a more or less distinct longitudinal furrow, 20 tentacles. Tube feet well developed, ventral side with no feet, but not regularly arranged; those of the dorsal side slender papillae, scattered straight curved or conical. Skin naked. No calcareous deposits. Gonads on both sides of dorsal mesentery. (Mortensen, 1927; Deichmann, 1930)

Body more or less cylindrical, with no marginal fringe, and no evident sole. Tube feet numerous, small, irregularly arranged over the whole body. Anus ventral or subventral. Deposits lacking from body wall. (HBF)
