Oneirophanta

Théel, 1882

3 species

Body elongate; mouth subterminal; tentacles 20 large, non-retractile. Tube feet of ventro lateral ambulacra in a double row, the mid ventral ambulacrum with a few, more or less rudimentary, tube feet. A single series of papillae usually alternating large and small in each dorsal ambulacrum and along the sides of the body, skin as in Deima. Integument crowded with irregularly rounded perforate plates sometimes forming a hard skeleton. (Mortensen, 1927; Deichmann, 1930)

Tentacles 15-20, unretractile; discs usually with rounded knobs on the margin but never with ramified processes. Circumoral papillae absent. Deposits, spatulated crosses or perforated one layered plates; spatulated rods present, at least in the papillae. (Hansen, 1975)
