Neopentadactyla

Deichmann, 1944

1 species

Dendrochirote holothurians with 20 tentacles. The podia are in rows on the radii. The calcareous members (of the ring?) are very tall. The radialia are composed of long forked tails and posteriorly deeply split. The very thin tails are made of many pieces. The interradialia are combined, very small, and are just about as long as the radialia, with their tails taken together. They are loosely bound on the ends with the end of the neighboring forked tails. (Heding & Panning, 1954)

Semperiellinae with 20 tentacles, 10 large, with 5 small and 5 of intermediate size (10+5+5), body wall ossicles are tables with smooth-edged discs and are not lost even in the largest specimens. (McKenzie, 1991)
