Tentacles normally 20. Longitudinal muscles unpaired. Stone canal rudimentary, imbedded in the dorsal mesentery between the gonoduct and the esophagus. Tentacle ampullae absent. Respiratory trees with a single trunk at the cloaca. Caudal appendage absent. Body surface, especially towards the ends supplies with small retractile pedicel-like papillae. Gonopore between the dorsal tentacles not on a papilla behind them. (Heding, 1935)
