Body ovoid, mouth anterior or subventral; 10 tentacles. Tube feet of lateral ambulacra distributed along the whole edge of the body. Three pairs of dorsal papillae at anterior end of body, united or not by a web. Calcareous bodies simple pointed rods, no wheels or C-shaped bodies. (Mortensen, 1927)
