Tentacles 10, richly branched, ventral two smaller. Body elongate fusiform sometimes U shaped. Podias generally restricted to double rows along the radii. Calcareous ring tubular, long. Radials with weak anterior notch for the attachment of retractor muscle; paired posterior projections, each composed of several rectangular pieces. Interradials with short anterior projection, each interradial made up of two pieces, posterior pieces being amost rectangular. (Thandar, 1989)
