Gephyrothuria

Koehler & Vaney, 1905

2 species

Body form recalling Molpadia, mouth terminal surrounded by 15 tentacles, which end in a pair of lobes. Oral end is slightly narrower than the remaining part of the body. Each of the dorsal ambulacra carries a series of few, very slender appendages, but the ventral side is naked, or provided with very small appendages; anal papillae present. Calcareous bodies seem entirely lacking in body wall, some deformed deposits may be present in the tentacles. 2 Respiratory trees are present, each developed as a short tube with few lobes. (Deichmann, 1930)
