Marginal papillae forming the lateral fringe about the ventral sole are enlarged at the anterior end of the body. Pharynx strongly developed. Tentacles 18-20, dendritic, forming a conspicuous ring about the mouth. Midventral pedicels present. Anus subdorsal. Deposits present, usually branched spicules bearing spinules.
