Body elongate, not so much broader than high. Marginal papillae forming the lateral fringe about the ventral sole are enlarged at the anterior end of the body. Pharynx strongly developed. Tentacles 18-20, dendritic, forming a conspicuous ring about the mouth. Midventral pedicels present. Anus subdorsal. Deposits present, usually branched spicules bearing spinules. (HBF)
