Tentacles 8-30 in number, not branched but digitiform or digitate, digits sometimes bifurcate. Body enclosed in a test comprising imbricating calcareous plates. Calcareous ring simple, lacking complex posterior processes. (Pawson & Fell, 1965)

Calcareous ring simple, lacking complex posterior processes. Body U-shaped, enclosed in a test comprising imbricate plates. (Pawson, 1965)
