Cucumella

Ludwig & Heding, 1935

3 species

Phyllophorids with 15 tentacles of equal size, and tube feet restricted to the ambulacra. Calcareous ring simple. Spicules, tables with three pillars and disc with three holes or multiples of three. (Deichmann, 1948)

Dendrochirotid holothurians with 20 (14) tentacles. The podia in young animals are always confined to the radii. The calcareous ring is simple and with forked tails. The calcareous bodies are fully developed towers, which are composed of three columns. (Heding & Panning, 1954)
