Mouth ventral, tentacles 15-20 hardly retractile. Anus terminal, sub dorsal. Ventro lateral ambulacra with a single row of 15 retractile tube feet, mid ventral ambulacrum naked. Dorsal ambulacra each with a single or double row of small delicate retractile papillae. Other scattered papillae may be found, also arranged in longitudinal series. Marginal appendages which are rather large and contractile. Calcareous deposits wheels similar to Laetmogone, but more vaulted. Ambulacral appendages have rudimentary end plate as well as wheels and simple rods. (Mortensen, 1927; Deichmann, 1930)

Circumoral papillae present. Midventral tube feet absent. Dorsal papillae small, in single or double rows or bands. Ventrolateral papillae absent. Wheels lacking marginal teeth. (Hansen, 1975)
