SL: to 9 cm (photo: 8 cm SL, Apra Harbor, 17 m)

This species, Guam’s most common anemonefish, occurs on reef flats and protected reefs to a depth of 18 m.  It often occurs in large colonies in extensive beds of the anemone Entacmaea quadricolor.

W. PACIFIC: E. Indies to the Tuamotus, n. to the Marianas, s. to New Caledeonia.
